Purchase: I bought the helmet from Mill's Tack Store in Bellevue, WA and paid ~$49.
Likes: I love the fit and the light weight. The "dial-a-fit" feature allowed me to customize the fit perfectly. The helmet is vented which is a god-send during the blistering summer heat we have in South Central Washington (Yes, there are extremely hot, dry areas in Washington State!). I also like the matte surface because it doesn't reflect the sun and the visor is big enough to shade my eyes. In addition, it's pretty snazzy looking.
What I like most about the helmet is it saved my life when I fell from my horse. The helmet fractured but all I ended up with was a concussion and minor cerebral trauma. The doctors said that if I hadn't been wearing it, I wouldn't have survived.
Dislikes: My only complaint is the chin strap is a little awkward to adjust.
Quality: Excellent quality and construction. The dial system is easy to use. It looked great throughout the year I used it.
Summary: The helmet served its purpose exactly as advertised: it absorbed the majority of the damage in an accident that would have otherwise been fatal.
