Purchase: I bought this saddle on my holiday in Belgium. The wife of the man who owned the saddle has an Equestrian shop, when the saddle didn't fit they decided to sell it in their shop. When I arrived there I immediately fell in love with this saddle. It was one of the most beautiful saddles I've ever seen and the price wasn't also that bad. So they've only tried it on their horse. They didn't ride with it. Normally this saddle costs $799 incl. shipping to Europe. I only paid €550 euro for it, while less than €800 for a western saddle is very rare in Europe. And now, 6 months later I'm still enjoying my very own saddle. Luckily it fits on most of the horses I ride because I don't even own a horse!

Likes: What I like most is that now, with my own saddle, I have no more pain in my back. Normally I always used to have very much pain in my back when I had my training. Because I do reining and that's really though physically. But I think that this saddle has adapted to my style of riding and the way I sit on my horse. That's really great because now I don't have to worry anymore about my back.

Dislikes: What I don't like about it is that it took a long time to make the saddle more smooth. Everything was new so it was a bit rough like the stirrups and the cinches. But right now is almost everything smooth. And also that there is no sign of the Buffalo brand trademark, only a series number. I had to look it up on the internet.

Quality: I think the quality is very good. As long as you're treating the leather with oil or grease every once in a while everything will be alright. It's not a very fine saddle it's rather unwieldy but I like that!

Summary: I think this is a great saddle for everyone. Whenever you do reining, pleasure, trail, it doesn't matter. This saddle is good for everything! Also because it took away the pain in my back I rate it: 5!!!
