Purchase: I bought this helmet through Neigh per say at an endurance ride. It cost $25 and I needed another helmet because my old one was cold and bubble like.
Likes: I liked that the helmet fit. I have a small head and find most small helmets still too big. The dial adjustment helped also.
Dislikes: I found that the velcro that held the dial contraption around the head let go after a few months. The edge of the plastic that the velco is attached too squeezes my ears if I fasten it over them and scratches my ears if I fasten it behind my ears. It has even cut one ear when I adjusted it.
I tried to attach a light for night riding but the velcro could not support it.
I also hit my head on a low branch and the shell cracked. My old helmet has hit lots of things harder with no apparent damage.
Quality: At first glance it seems like a well constructed idea but upon use the flaws become evident. I'm glad I didn't pay a lot!
Summary: This may fit a different size head better but I don't believe it is as sturdy a helmet as others.
