Purchase: Chicks saddlery was the cheapest I saw it at $23.99.
Likes: This is a great bit for training a green horse. I start all of my horses out with this bit. I had read somwhere that the horses love this bit because the sweet iron rust and the copper cause horses to salivate. And for some reason, they like the taste of rust!?! Stainless steel D rings, black sweet iron mouthpiece with copper inlay.
Dislikes: It's a bit ugly that the bit looks yucky and rusty, but after 2 years, the horses still love them.
Quality: With the rusting issue, I'm not sure if these bits will need to be replaced sooner than others.
Summary: If my horses are happy about accepting the bit, I'm happy.
