Purchase: I purchased two pairs of the Ariat Pro Circuit Breeches from the Dover Catalog and paid about $210.00 for each pair. I saw the breeches worn by many of the Hunter riders at a show in Scottsdale, Arizona while visiting from Alaska, and decided to "update" my English attire. I was, at the time, wearing breeches that literally fit like a second skin. Very unattractive!
Likes: I really like the calf material, because it eliminated a lot of excess bulk under my riding boots. The material is very light and stretchy, yet substantial enough that I was not concerned about tucking in my shirt and walking around the show grounds! I especially like the colour, khaki! Not that pea green! They also fit true to size! Well worth the money!
Dislikes: There is nothing about these breeches I do not like. I would own more if I had lots of money or a rich boyfriend!
Quality: Very well made! I am going in to my third summer with them, and they show no wear and tear....of course, we don't ride year around here, maybe about 5 months out of the year. I also like it that they can be machine washed or dry cleaned and look great either method of washing!
Summary: These are by far the best breeches I have ever owned or ridden in! They are comfy and look great with any colour hunt coat and shirt.
