Purchase: I purchased a pair of the field boots from Ebay and paid $200.00 for them I was looking for a pair of inexpensive field boots to wear with a wide calf while saving my money for custom boots. It was quite an interesting experience!
Likes: I like the fact that the bots were inexpensive and that they have such nice, high Spanish cut tops that elongate your leg. The leather is nice, and the soles are especially "grippy." The sales rep for the company, Holly is very nice!
Dislikes: I ordered the boots in December and did not receive them until April. When I questioned the "whereabouts" of my boots I was told all kinds of stories about where they were. Finally, Holly told me there was some sort of political strife going on at the plant where the boots were made. I asked her what could possibly be going on at the plant, which I had been led to believe was in PA. She told me the boots were made in......Pakistan....and that the area around the plant had been bombed. When I finally got the boots they were way too large and after numerous e-mails, I still have not heard from the manufacturer.
Quality: The boots were made OK, the leather was OK. There was some kind of strange insert in the boot...probably some kind of secret spy camera placed by one of the Pakistani workers.
Summary: Would not purchase anything from them again. I finally had to mail my boots to Anchorage....360 miles away to be fixed so that I could wear them. I personally feel the company was deceptive about the boots being made in a country that supports terrorists that out Country is at war with.
