Purchase: I bid on and won two Tailored Sportsman Show Shirts off of Ebay and paid, brand new for each shirt $35.00! They came from a Canadian store called Ravenswood Tack. I wanted to get a couple of new shirts for a new hunt coat I had recently purchased.
Likes: These shirts are GREAT! They fit true to size and are made of a very light cotton that does not make you sweat. They are generously made to give you lots of room through the upper arms and shoulders and I can actually button them over my hips. They have very long tails so that they are easy to tuck into your breeches and even look good when left tucked out when walking around the show grounds looking for a doughnut! The colours are very cool, too.
Dislikes: Can't find anything to be critical about these two shirts.
Quality: Appear to be very well made and have washed them once in the washing machine and then ironed them with starch and they still have that brand new look to them. The collars are nice and high and the ratcatchers are firm and when buttoned to the shirt stand up nice and do not have that "wilty" appearance.
Summary: I like the Tailored Sportsman line and these shirts are of stand up quality. I think they normally sell for about $100.00 and seem to be worth it. The cotton is silk-like and they drape in a very flattering way!
