Purchase: I bought it very slightly used from a tack shop and paid $1400 for it
Likes: I adore this saddle. I have owned many saddles and ridden in many more. I actually sold my Butet, which I was very disappointed in (didn't fit any horses and didn't fit me!) and bought the Ashland for less than half the price. It was hands down the best purchase I have ever made. I ride a variety of horses at several different barns and the only horses it doesn't fit are ones with VERY high withers. It is incredibly comfortable, and puts me in the perfect position. I switch between Equitation, hunters and jumpers so it is very versatile too. If you are looking for a well- priced versatile saddle, go directly to your nearest dealer (do not pass go do not collect $200) and BUY THIS ONE!!!
Dislikes: I love it all!! Nothing bad to say
Quality: very solid. Leather is very soft and pliable, but has held up very well (I ride 5 days a week and up to 5 horses a day)
Summary: Simply the best saddle I have ever ridden in.
