Purchase: Purchased 2 new Tucker HP saddles at PFI in Springfield MO, 1395.00. Both are Brown, Full skirt, one is 15 1/2 inch seat and the other is 17 1/2. We were in MO to purchase 2 mules and figured while we were there we might as well buy saddles for them since Western saddle selection is sparse in my neck of the woods and PFI was just right around the corner. Trailered them over to PFI where we worked with staff there on saddle selection and fit. While inside the store we looked at PFI's huge selection of the many different saddle makes, sat in a bunch of them and kept coming back to the Tucker. It was so soft, pretty and comfortable I couldn't resist it. We then carried the saddles outside to make sure they fit the mules pre-purchase. Mules are much harder to find a good saddle fit for than a horse is so having them with us at the store was a huge benefit.
Likes: The best part about this saddle is the gel-cush padded seat and the secure feeling it give me due to the 5" cantel and wide swell. If you've never sat in a Tucker gel-cush seat you should try it sometime, it's definitely a hiney friendly saddle.
Dislikes: After riding in my saddle for a year now I have no complaints. It's just a darn nice, well-made, good-looking, comfortable saddle, period.
Quality: Excellent quality leather and workmanship.
Summary: If I had to purchase 2 new saddles again I'd buy 2 more tuckers.
