Purchase: I needed a fly sheet that contained smaller holes instead of the larger holes in most fly sheets, because the mosquitoes are really bad where I am at. I bought this fly sheet at State Line tack, they have a website www.statelinetack.com, I paid $35.00 for this sheet.
Likes: I love this sheet! It is really soft, breathable, and lightweight. I hate those heavy fly sheets, they are so uncomfortable for my horses. The sheet has the extension in the neck, so unlike most fly sheets, it gives more protection to the neck. It even protects my mare's blood bay coat from fading, because she is out most of the day. Because is is so breathable, I can ride her until she is nice and sweaty, and the sheet it so airy, that I can put it back on her right away. It also has 2 nylon leg straps.
Dislikes: I didn't like how the sheet only had one belly closure, because when my mare rolled the sheet would hang down on the side of her, and it got annoying constantly adjusting it. I finally took it in the get and extra belly strap sewn on.
Quality: The construction is pretty good, although I would not recommend this sheet around horses who like to tear or chew on them, because this sheet is very delicate. The nylon surgicles are very heavy weight, and have triple stitching!
Summary: Overall, this is a pretty good fly sheet for how climates, where there are a lot of smaller insects, It is best used for the stalled horse, as I had to buy two already this year due to pasture blanket torture:-)
