Purchase: I bought the saddle barely used for $250.00 from a neighbor. Bought it to fit my little broad withered horse who's shaped like an arab.
Likes: Finally, a saddle to fit my horse!!! It is wide in the gullet where it needs to be, tapers down along the back where he gets narrow, and has a round skirt for his short back. I like the real leather stirrups and the light weight.
Dislikes: The seat is supposed to be a 15", but it sits more like a 16". I feel like I'm sliding around too much on my little gaited horse. Quality not real impressive.
Quality: It seems a little chinsey, not real quality leather, when I clean it I get a dye all over my rags. After some use, the leather began to separate at the concho where the seat and jockey come together. The fleece seems to be just glued on there, and the tooling is not the best. Overall, it's a pretty nice saddle to work and play around in, just not excellent quality.
Summary: I think this saddle is a great for your hard to fit arab style horse. Great to play around in, but the quality could be improved.
