Purchase: Bought it at TSC because it has a section on training ex-racehorses, and I was considering buying one. Paid $18.95.
Likes: Easy to follow and read, the only book I could find with a section on retraining ex-racehorses.
Dislikes: It's pretty basic. You should save your money, really. Unless your a new horse owner, most of this stuff you will already know. The section on ex-racers was really short so I was disappointed. A basic, old school approach to training.
Quality: Great quality and pictures throughout the book, soft cover, easy to read.
Summary: It's a great book for beginning horse owners. A little too basic for me, there are a ton of books like this.
