Manufacturer: Eli Miller (View all products by Eli Miller)
Model: Western Buena Vista Trail Saddle (View all Western Buena Vista Trail Saddle reviews)
Category: Trail Saddles
Purchase: Bought this saddle at Iron Mountain Horse Camp. I had been wanting one for a long time. Paid $800
Likes: This saddle is top of the line. Glove leather suspended seat. Endurance stirrups with fenders that are so soft you don't need to manually turn them. You can ride all day comfortably.
Dislikes: There is nothing I dislike about this saddle
Quality: The construction is top notch. Eli Miller is an Amish saddle maker. He is retired now and Double Creed makes his saddles under his nephew Henry Miller guidance. The leather and craftsmanship is unrivaled.
Summary: As long as I have a horse, I will keep this saddle, its that good. ******** Horse Tack Review was contacted and provided the following information: "I was reading a review about the Eli Miller Saddles and would like to clear a few things up concerning the posted review. I would like to say first of all it's not the persons fault that posted the review for the misleading information, that's the story that's being told by someone. Eli Miller has not retired he just no longer builds saddles for the wholesale market ( tack shops ),he only does custom orders. He has turned the wholesale part of his business over to his brother in-law Henry Miller who owns Double Creek Saddlery and worked for Eli for about three years. How do I know all this, I was a distributor for Eli Miller in the wholesale market for over five years and personally know both parties. I'm still a distributor for Double Creek and can still get you Eli Miller Saddles, but not until late this fall because he is building a new house and shop." from j1270 at msn dot com
