Purchase: I was looking for a quality saddle on a budget, and bought the St. Lourdes at my local tack shop for $480.
Likes: This saddle is excellent quality! I was amazed by how well made it is for the price. It is very comparable to the HDR Advantage, which I had out on a test ride. The St. Lourdes has much nicer detail work though, which you can really notice with the saddles next to each other. The leather is nice, though took a while to break in. I LOVE the padded seat, which is VERY comfy for the rider. Overall, this saddle is very nice for the money. I think it is nicer than most saddles under $1000.
Dislikes: Foam panels. I need a larger tree size, and the only reason I'm not buying another St. Lourdes is that I really prefer wool flocked for its adjust-ability.
Quality: Lovely leather, great construction, close attention to detail finishing. VERY good!
Summary: If you're on a budget, and don't mind foam panels, this is the perfect saddle.
