Manufacturer: M. Toulouse
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: www.saddlesource.com, Rick's Heritage Saddle Shop, West Chester, PA. $899
Likes: The M. Toulouse saddle is a really nice mix of great features that cross country and jumping riders are looking for. Sticky leather, a softly foam padded seat, good knee roll support, adjustable thigh block on velcro and some nice extra touches like flap reinforcement. All of this in an affordable, under $1,000 price tag. If you ride cross country you should not overlook this affordable model, it compares with the pricey saddles very well.
Dislikes: The seats are generously sized; the brown leather does show marks pretty easily.
Quality: The leather is excellent, and the saddle appears well made with good panel stuffing, good channel width, stitching and details are all good quality.
Summary: An affordable cross country or stadium jumping saddle without the pricey cost, and yet provides a lot of more expensive details.
