Purchase: I bought this online from Horse Tack Co. I paid around $90 for it.
Likes: I had bought 4 other bridles around the same time and paid more for several of them, including a nice Collegiate. None of them matched the Bobby's for quality of leather and attention to detail. This looks like a much more expensive show bridle, but because of its reasonable price, we are able to use it for schooling as well. The half-inch wide pieces look great and really show off a nice head, while the narrow reins are easy for my child to handle.
Dislikes: The reins were a little stiff but became very soft and supple after one oiling and regular use.
Quality: The leather is good quality - not the cheaply tanned stuff I've gotten elsewhere. The color is even and the stitching is neat and tight.
Summary: I'd read online that Bobby's was a good deal for the money, and it really is.
