Purchase: I bought Correct Connect from an internet site, correctconnect.net. My instructor was constantly yelling at me to keep my fingers closed and my reins the same length. A friend of mine told be about Correct Connect. I paid $80 for the set.
Likes: The system works. The velcro is on the palms of the gloves and on the reins. My instructor just tells me where she wants my rein length and it has made me feel like I now understand how to keep it. It doesn't make me feel glued on though. I also have a bad habit of keeping my reins too short when I was jumping and now I know I don't need to do that to feel effective.
Dislikes: I haven't been displeased with it yet at all. In fact my horse is so much happier with me not yanking on his mouth all the time changing my rein length.
Quality: The gloves are similar to SSG glove material and the velcro is sewn tightly onto the fabric. The reins are soft leather and the velcro is sewn onto them with white strips of velcro every so many inches to tell where my hands should be. The velcro has held up well so far.
Summary: I think this is a great tool for riders that have trouble keeping their reins either too long or too short. It is also good for riders that like to open their hands instead of keeping their fingers closed.
