Purchase: Several years ago I was looking to get myself a nice saddle as a birthday gift for myself. I looked at many brands at three different local tack stores. Once I decided on this saddle I had the store owner come out and take measurements of my horse so I could custom order the size I needed. I have had this saddle now for 7 years so I don’t remember exactly what I paid for it but it was over $2000.00. Last time I looked the same tack shop I bought mine from is selling the same saddle I have for $2600.00 recently.
Likes: What I loved about this saddle is that it is so comfortable to sit in and that it has such a deep seat that I feel so secure when riding. It is made of the softest leather that it takes no time to break it in. This saddle’s biggest asset is its biggest drawback. The soft leather can scuff if it is not cared for careful. The soft leather is on the seat and knee patches so that is where the scuff are most likely. I have found with normal care of the saddle the scuffs are to a minimum. Mine only has one small scuff where my horse tried to take the saddle off on a tree. It is very minor and I would still show in this saddle with the scuff. It puts my legs in the right place for riding and is easy to get into two point position. It is a really sharp looking saddle for the ring but it is a saddle that is comfortable enough to trail ride all day in (trust me I have done this many times.) I have several other saddles that are not as expensive but I just can seem to make myself ride in those other saddles even on the trails.

Quality: The quality and construction is top notch. It still looks new after so many hours in the saddle. I see this saddle being one I’m able to pass on to my kids and to their kids. I don’t mind paying for things as long as they are a quality product and this is one product that was well worth the money.
Summary: The easiest way for me to sum this up is:
A few months ago I purchased a new horse that this saddle does not fit as well. SO when I’m able to save up enough money (hopefully in a few more months) I’m going to have my local tack shop owner come out and fit my new horse for her own County Stabilizer.
To me the best way to tell if someone is satisfied with a product is if they actually purchase it again and I am going to get another one of theses saddles.
