Purchase: I paid $109.95 at a local tack shop. I bought it because Air Ride Pads have great reviews
Likes: I like the light weight look and feel. It's fairly easy to clean. She seems to move better with it even though it's an odd fit. I've seen no soreness since I've had that pad - but I also bought a new saddle at the same time so I'm not sure if it was the pad or the saddle. Professionals Choice has a warranty and guarantee which is nice because I had to switch her to their smaller barrel pad.
Dislikes: I see more sweat with this pad than I do with my old fleece pad. Her sweat drips down the side of her stomach - it looks like she got hosed but at the same time it seems to keep her more comfortable. It's advertised to be cooler but I don't know. The pad is super thin and makes my saddle roll a little - it's really bad when she sweats - so be careful with your saddle fit. It is also really big on her. It's a 30X32 pad and it's molded in the front for high withered horses so it doesn't fit too well, it's also long on her back so it curls out at her flanks.
Quality: Very high quality!! Built to last, the fabric doesn't have anything to snag or fray and it's easy to wipe off. The fuzz under the pad doesn't pack down like fleece either.
Summary: I like the pad, unfortunately for my horse I had to get their smaller barrel pad (28X30) with the ortho sport to add some thickness. But I kept the All Around because I may use it on a longer horse someday.
