Purchase: I purchased this 13" english saddle at Bucks County Saddlery in PA I paid $450.00 in used, but almost new condition. Only a few surface scratches were on the saddle and leather cleaner took care of those. The saddle was purchased for my 2 1/2 year old daughter.
Likes: I am describing this saddle based not on a rider of the saddle, but instead on how well my daughter seems to ride in this saddle as opposed to other saddles we have used in the past for her. The 13" saddle fits my daughter perfectly and places her in the middle of her seat.
Dislikes: I do notice that there is a slight problem with leg placement when she is on this saddle as opposed to other saddles we have used in the past. Leg placement for this saddle appears to be a bit forward for equitation classes.
Quality: The saddle has held up well with use and the scratches are easily fixed with saddle cleaner. This is a very small saddle and was made for a young child and pony and fits the two well.
Summary: I am not sure if I would repurchase this kind of a saddle for my daughter again, given that her leg placement is wrong.
