Purchase: I acquired this saddle from a State Line Tack store located in Houston Texas. Bought for me by generous relatives to use in jumping lessons. It's cost was $500.
Likes: What I absolutely adore about this saddle is the fact it does not need the care and attention like a leather saddle would. A spray down with the hose works great! And I do not have to worry about riding in the rain, or getting it dirty out on the trails. And no more stains or fungus! It is comfortable and light. Not to mention the easy change gullet system saved my family and I a ton of money. Instead of having to buy a bran new saddle, we just purchase a new gullet to fit my new horse. I have had my wintec close contact saddle for about a year and a half, and it is still in fabulous condition!
Dislikes: The one problem I am having is with this saddle's color. I am having one heck of a time trying to find the matching Wintec bridle! I have settled for a brown bridle, even though the saddle is caramel. It's not really that noticeable that the saddle and bridle do not match. I have found the matching girth and stirrup leathers, they were not a problem to find.
Quality: The construction of this saddle allows for the changeable gullet system, which is wonderful! Also the construction stops the pressure points along my horse's back (no more dry spots!) I have found the quality of this saddle to be amazing! It still looks bran new and its a year and a half old, plus I use it everyday to ride multiple horses!
Summary: Overall this is an absolutely amazing Saddle! A fabulous choice! I recommend it to anyone!
