Purchase: I've aquired this saddle through the clinician that created the saddle, Major Jeremy Beale. I purchsed it throught Laser Equestrian Products and paid $1900.00 for it, less fittings. A lot of riders/trainers at my barn rode in it, claiming it was ultimate comfort for both horse and rider.
Likes: I liked the fact that it had an adjustable tree. I've had two horses at different times, and it fit both of them beautifully with the turn of a key. They were both very different in their build, one being a slender standardbred and the other being a wide quarter horse. The convienence and comfort were the key roles in choosing a saddle, and the Laser 100D had everything that I was looking for plus some. The construction of the saddle is made so precise and with minor details that make this a truly elegant saddle.
Dislikes: No complaints so far, and I've ridden in this same saddle for two years.
Quality: The construction of the saddle benifits both horse and rider equally. The Laser 100D Adjustable has the widest, flattest wool flocked panels availible today. The knee rolls are wider for the rider to have more support without feeling stuck in the saddle. It allows optimum relaxion and comfort for both horse and rider alike.
Summary: The Laser 100D Adjustable is the ultimate saddle for any dressage rider looking for comfort and relaxation. Thought beware, its addictive. Once you ride in this saddle you will never want to go back to riding in anything else. You will notice a difference in your horses performance and your own riding ability when you ride in the Laser 100D Adjustable dressage saddle.
