Purchase: I acquired this bridle at a local tack shop on a fantastic clearance sale for $75(Cdn dollars)plus tax. I have seen this bridle at other tack shops retailing for around $125! I had been looking for a bridle that I could show in and as I ride in a club, fit a fair number of horses
Likes: I loved the color of my bridle it was a lovely havana brown with almost a mahogany tint too it. I love it so much that I only use non darkening oil on it. I also liked that it could fit both the horse I ride now, who is notorious for having a small head (he can fit into a cob, or pony halter) and also the horse I previously rode who was constantly made fun of for having a very large head. To put her head into perspective she is 15.3 hands and she wore a bridle that a 17.1 hand Latvian cart horse wore! The bridle fit both of them very well!
Dislikes: The throat latch might be a bit small for horses who are wide in that area, but so far I've never had to make any extra holes
Quality: Excellent quality and nice color and feel to the leather. The stitching has held up so far, even though I leave it far too long between cleanings
Summary: I absolutely ADORE this bridle and I will be very sad to see the day that it breaks (hopefully never!)
