Purchase: I purchased these at RLB Saddlery, a local tack shop. They where on sale for half off (or something like that) which made them $38, so normally they are in the $75 range there. I purchased them for my intercollegiate showing.
Likes: I like these breeches because the fabric and styling of mine are virtually identical to the Tailored Sportsman Supreme Hunter beeches. Also they are machine washable which is a great thing cause paying for dry cleaning while you are paying for college is a nuisance. Also the cost (even at full price) is less than half that of the Tailoreds and they have an incredibly similar look.
Dislikes: The zipper on my pair is a little bulkier than on a pair of Tailored sportsman, so it doesn't lay quite the way it should. It kind of puckers and pulls at the bottom. I wouldn't wear these at a huge show (like IHSA Nationals) but for anything lower than that they are fine.
Quality: I have found no problem with the construction or quality other than the above mentioned zipper thing, which if I really wanted to put the time into I could probably remedy by putting in a different zipper or easing it a little (can you tell I sew?) But once again everything else has held up very well with this pair of breeches
Summary: Bottom Line: if you want a pair of breeches that REALLY looks like the $$Big Money$$ pairs but doesn't have that price, and you try them on to see what they look like on you first, these are a GREAT solution. And it may just be my pair of these that have a zipper issue and your's won't.
