Purchase: I purchased Miracle Coat's "No Fly Zone" fly spray online through KV Vet Supply Co. for $9.99 (32 oz.). It is the best $10 I've ever spent on fly spray.
Likes: Miracle Coat's All Natural No Fly Zone fly spray is the very best I've found! I've tried many products with natural ingredients, but this one really works! The others didn't quite do the job. The flies marched right up and stood in line to chomp on him. I refused to buy sprays containing harsh chemicals because I didn't like the idea of putting those nasty chemicals on my horse or into the environment. This product contains a combination of natural ingredients; Oil Extract from Clove Citronella & Lemon Grass. There are no harsh chemicals. It is non-toxic, water soluble, and biodegradable. It also conditions the coat. First spray your horse then lightly brush him. Step back and see how his coat shines. Not only does he look handsome, but the flies virtually disappear! I've seen one or two daring and crazy flies trying to pester him, but they don't stick around for long! It's an amazing and fabulous product!!!
Dislikes: There is nothing that I can personally find wrong with this product. However, it does have a strong scent which is unusual but not unpleasant. People who have problems with "fragrances" may find it offensive, but I think that it may be this particular scent is what keeps the flies away. If you can tolerate it long enough to spray your horse, it will be worth it because this product really works!!
Quality: It is packaged in a durable sprayer that is easy to handle. The neck is shaped to fit right into your hand. The sprayer works efficiently - no spray is wasted from leakage like with other products. The bottle is black with a hot pink Miracle Coat logo.
Summary: I am thrilled to have discovered this product. My horse's pasture is adjacent to a cow pasture, and the flies are abundant and relentless. Fortunately there is a product with natural ingredients now available that works effectively. I highly recommend "No Fly Zone"!
