Purchase: This is the second Wintec All Purpose saddle we have bought, going from a smaller sized Wintec 250 to a larger 17-17.5 size. We bought it via American Livestock Supply two years ago, with a special price (around $450) that included the gullet sizing tool and the complete selection of gullets. It is an excellent saddle, and we use it for 4-H and trail. It is comfortable, easy to take care of, well sewn, and versatile since we have two Arabs, one a 14.1 hand and the other a 15.1 hand.
Likes: Versatility, quality, ease of care. It is good for the horse, and a good buy for someone starting out or an amateur who does not need nor want to invest triple the price for good quality. It is a much better buy than the Wintec 250.
Dislikes: There is nothing we do not like.
Quality: Excellent
Summary: We will remain customers of the Wintec products, due to quality and versatility. The changeable gullet system and the CAIR system are worth paying a little more for, when upgrading from the lowest model.
