Purchase: I purchased this item through the Dover Catalogue. I paid about $23.00 for the mask. I purchased this particular fly mask because of the reviews it received in the Horse Journal Magazine.
Likes: I like that this fly mask is machine washable. It says so directly on the label. I have tried the super mask in the past and I had to wash it by hand. I also like the very soft fabric and edge that this fly mask has. I also like the way that the mesh material stays out of my horses eyes. The super mask did not stay out of my horses eyes. Overall quality seems to be very good. I have been using it for the past 4 months and it is very durable.
Dislikes: I do not like the single velcro closure. I has come off my horse and I had to walk the pasture to find it. The super mask did not come off my horse during the two summers that I had it.
Quality: Fly mask with mesh around the eyes. Soft fabric for the ears and around the head. Very Good Quality. It has held up to frequent use and cleans easily.
Summary: I would purchase another one in the future. The mash with ears and long nose might be pricey but I think it is worth the price. It may come off the horse due to the fact that it only has a single velcro closure.
