Purchase: I ordered this saddle through Ricks Saddle Shop in NJ. I paid about 2100.
Likes: Fabulous Saddle! I had a little Crosby Prix des Nations from my pony hunter days and figured it was time to upgrade. I cannot ride in any other saddle! Soft supple leather, a sturdy tree, a trusted and reliable brand name! Plus, I found out that you can special order ANY Crosby EVER made if you have the serial # on the flap of the saddle!
Dislikes: I guess I'd have to say the price...but hey, what saddle isn't? It is well worth the investment when it comes to the comfort of your horse, and of course your own personal confidence riding.
Other than that...I've owned a Crosby for 17 years now (now I own 2 ) -- Never had a single problem with it.
Quality: Quality is a+. There is the adjustability to get a long or forward or short flap models for harder to fit riders, such as myself.
Summary: I love my Centennial...it broke in under one month of consistent riding. My horse loves it, I love it...I really couldn't ask for anything more. I highly recommend this saddle to anyone who is serious about riding.
