Purchase: I bought this at a tack shop in Ohio while at a show. Can't remember the name of the place, somewhere outside Columbus. Paid $249.99.
Likes: This is a comfortable saddle. It's synthetic like the wintecs, so it cleans with soap and water. It's got nice shock absorbtion and removable knee pads.
Dislikes: I'd say that my horse is a true 'medium' so I didn't think about buying anything but a medium. This was too narrow for my horse. After buying it I was told that this saddle runs way off. Mediums are more narrow, wides are more medium-wide though so it would be too wide. After a few months of using it on a narrow horse, breaking it in more, I tried it again. It was better but he still hated it. It wasn't for a good 10 months did this saddle settle down and I was able to use it on him again.
Quality: Some of the saddle seems well constructed, the panels are covered with polyurethane, the seat is a nylon and it has a cordura trim. The billets are a covered nylon too. However, you can see that parts of it are secured with staples. I don't see this saddle holding up for the long run. The tree is warranted for 10 years so who knows.
Summary: If you are looking to buy this saddle, make sure it fits your horse very well. Maybe if you are on a real budget and only reide occasionally, I'd recommend it. But if you are serious, don't waste the money.
