Purchase: I purchased this saddle used, but in like new condition at my local saddlery. I paid $250 for it.
Likes: I was looking for a saddle to be used about 3 times per week, and a used close contact saddle. This saddle fit me very well, and it was pretty comfortable, compared to a used Stubben saddle, at less than 1/4 the price. I like the padded knee on the flaps, and the stirrup bars are made to get the stirrup leathers in very easily. At first, I passed by the saddle because of the color, and because it was so cheap. After looking through all the used saddles, I had two left that were both much older, and they were much too slippery. Then, I decided to take a look at the Kincade, and I liked the feel of the leather, the knee rolls, and I also liked the shape the saddle was in. I ended up purchasing this one because it was the best used saddle (in my opinion :) ) in the store! I was expecting this saddle to be poor quality, for it being sold at $300 new, but I love it so far!
Dislikes: The leather was stiff at first, but after oiling it, the leather softened up nicely.
Quality: The quality of this saddle is definitely not like a $1000 saddle, but I think that it is much better quality than you would expect for $300. It is constructed very well, everything looks very nice on this saddle.
Summary: I would recommend this saddle to people who don't have much money to spend on a saddle, but expect good quality.
