Purchase: I received a set of the Oster Grooming Brushes for Christmas last year.
Likes: I am not sure if "Santa" bought them as a set or each individually but I do like the fact that they included a stiff brush, soft brush, coarse curry, fine curry, a sweat scraper, hoof pick and a mane/tail brush. The handles are soft and comfortable to use. The brushes are wider on one end and more narrow on the other making them easy to hold too. The hoof pick is rounded and seems to clean out the horse's hooves better than a normal flat pick.
Dislikes: I have had a bit of trouble cleaning the brushes. The bristles are tight and I have a hard time running a comb through to get the deep down hair out. I also wish that they made a medium bristled brush and maybe face brush.
Quality: They are definitely made well. You can tell just by holding them that the handles will last a long time. The softness hasn't worn at all.
Summary: I have been pretty satisfied with the Oster Horse brushes, and would recommend them.
