Purchase: I purchased this noseband through Bit of Britain's website for $63. My horse has a convex nose and the straps of normal nosebands sit right on his cheekbones and rub. This noseband is a "sliding" figure eight, so you can move the straps where you want them. There is also a version with rings, and it comes in either black or brown, horse or oversized.
Likes: The oversize version fits my 16.2hh Irish horse. It did not need to be oiled or broken in, it was ready to use out of the box.
Dislikes: I have no complaints about the item.
Quality: The leather is thick and a gorgeous deep brown with a tinge of red. It has roller buckles and a tab of leather to protect his chin from the buckle there.
Summary: Bit of Britain was great to deal with, although if you need information right away I would suggest calling rather than emailing. They were happy to measure a couple of nosebands so I could decide what size to get.
