Purchase: I bought my Hilason treeless endurance saddle on Ebay. I made an offer through their 'Best Offer' option and paid a total of $350 for it. I went with Hilason because I wanted a treeless but did not want to spend $700 plus that all of the other brands are.
Likes: I really like this saddle. It's comfy, although quite as 'couch-like' as a Bob Marshall, well made and very attractive. A lot of nice little details as well. I also like that the front and back cinch rings are much larger and easier to use than those of a Bob Marshall.
Dislikes: Not much really. I'm just starting to break mine in and as it conforms to my horse more, it will be even better. Well worth the price.
Quality: Good quality and construction. All stitching is tight and even, nice engraved silver conchos and nice metal studs under the pommel. Fleece is good, the leather is all good quality, even colored and the dye doesn't run.
Summary: Well worth the price. Excellent treeless option for some just getting into riding treeless and doesn't want to spend the big bucks other companies are asking.
