Purchase: I paid £259 for this at EquestrianClearance.com. This online store is amazing. They have the best range of almost everything (almost because their bridle selection is poor), especially rugs. Their prices on Wintec and Collegiate saddles are at least £50 less than anywhere else.

Likes: I bought this saddle for the pony I have on loan. I didn't have a lot of money to spend, but that didn't change my high expectations of comfort, quality, and appearance. The saddle looks exactly like leather. I still can't get over how gorgeous it looks. The color is beautiful and reminds me of the Pessoa saddles I used to drool over for years. Not only does the saddle look fabulous, it's also incredibly comfortable, far more comfortable than the Griffin Thoroughgood jumping saddle I owned years ago, and more comfortable than my horse's Ideal GP saddle. In fact, I wish I had this saddle for my horse as well. It's that wonderful. The easy-change gullet system makes this a saddle which is safe to buy online, as you can simply measure up your horse and get a gullet in the right size.

Dislikes: I wish that the underside of the saddle flap were in the same leather-look material as the rest of the saddle, but that's a small issue. Also, a word to the wise: DO NOT buy the matching Wintec Stirrup leathers. I wasted £17.99 on some only to discover that they squeak like crazy. As a result, I'm having to use non-matching leathers until I can afford to buy some quality newmarket-colored leather ones.

Quality: Incredibly well made. The same quality one would expect of saddles three times the price.

Summary: The most wonderful close contact saddle for riders on a budget, or any rider who can't be bothered to clean tack after every ride.
