Purchase: I paid £29.99 for this at my local saddlery. I bought it mostly because it was the cheapest winter rug on offer. Weatherbeta is a reliable brand, so I didn't feel like I was taking a risk.
Likes: The price! It fits my horse very well. He has high withers and this has not rubbed at all. I've had the rug for four years, and while the inner cotton lining is stained, it still cleans up well each winter. The thickness of the rug is ideal, as it sees my horse through the autumn until he gets clipped, which is when I need to use an under rug together with the Jasper rug. I can then use the rug again by itself in the spring.
Dislikes: I wish there was a greater variety of colors on offer. This one is Navy bound red, and I think that they change the colors every year. It would be nice to have a variety all the time.
Quality: Excellent. It hasn't needed a single repair yet.
Summary: A good quality winter stable rug at an incredibly good price.
