Purchase: I bought this saddle a few months ago for $600 online at eBay.com.
Likes: I was expecting some cheap used saddle that someone was trying to pass off as a "slightly used" one. But I got a new-looking Courbette! I love the fact that the saddle has suede panels - they make me feel more secure. The leather is still in great condition. The seat is probably the most comfortable seat I've ridden in for a long time. Much better than anything synthetic. Generally synthetic saddles don't have enough grip. The other thing I like about my Courbette is that the seat is deep and comfortable - great for jumping. I prefer it to close contact saddles for jumping, as I feel more secure.
Dislikes: I have no complaints! I absolutely adore this saddle, and I know it will last for ages! I did have trouble finding a good sized pad for the saddle, as I saw someone else did, but I think the pad was just too small.
Quality: The quality is great. I'm not sure how old this saddle is, but it still looks pretty new. Not a stitch is missing. The leather isn't worn, neither is the suede. This saddle's going to last.
Summary: I'm glad I got this saddle. I was debating whether to get this one or a Wintec 250. Overall, if I got the Wintec, I would be replacing it (with a leather saddle) in ten years. I am pleased with the quality, construction, and safety of Courbette saddles, and I will definitely be sticking with them for life.
