Purchase: I bought this saddle from a local tack shop. I had grown out of my old saddle and knew the Courbette name. I paid $795.00 for it.
Likes: The seat is incredible comfortable, and the break-in time was minimal. The leather is soft and supple and the the two-toned styling was nice looking. The saddle fit me really nicely as well, as it did almost every horse I've used it on.
Dislikes: The only problem I had with the saddle was it had to be waterproofed; the lighter color shows water spots very easily, but otherwise, there really isn't anything that I do not like about this saddle.
Quality: This saddle is very well constructed; the leather is quality, it is made on one of Courbette's spring trees which are incredibly comfortable. I have not had any problems with my saddle.
Summary: I am very pleased with my alpina; the soft seat is a pleasure to ride in, the knee blocks are not too large or restrictive, and it is an overall good-looking saddle.
