Purchase: I bought this bit at Wilco and paid about $80 for this item. I got it because my horse seemed to resist me a lot when ever I asked him to collect himself.
Likes: Before with my old bit my horse seemed to resist me a lot even after just having his teeth done. It took him a couple rides but soon after I had him in the myler he softened right up! Now whenever I ask him to collect he will do so at all three speeds with no resistance. I also like that it has independent side movement so it allows you to just work one side of their body at a time. This really comes in handy if he drops a shoulder.
Dislikes: To me the price seemed a little high but after using it and seeing how much my horse likes it I think it was totally worth the money!
Quality: Overall excellent quality. It is stainless steel with a roller in the middle and has 7 inch flat shanks. I have been using this bit for almost a year now and have found nothing wrong with it so far!
Summary: Overall I really like this bit and so does my horse! I would recommend this bit to anyone who is having resistance problems with their horse.
