Purchase: I was looking for a quality training system for a bargain. I bought this training system from Pessoa at Dover saddlery, I paid $150.00 for it.
Likes: The reason I decided to buy a training system is because when I purchased my Warmblood mare, she was originally trained Hunter, my planning on doing Dressage with her required me to retrain her to have a more uphill balanced position. The training system is actually a lunging aid, so you can watch yourself as your horse makes quick improvements. The system can be rigged from going long and low fora green horse, to the most advanced collected frame, and everything in between! The four main positions this system is known for are the crossed and dressage position, the high position, middle position, and the low position. The crossed and dressage position, is recommended for riders wishing to obtain a high neck position needed for Dressage. The high position helps develop the muscles needed for the horse to be in perfect balance when cantering. The middle position is an intermediate position which helps upper neck muscles to develop. The low position causes tension of the spinal column to bring the shoulder up. The system comes in a handy horse and pony size!
Dislikes: It takes your horse a while to adjust to having all the gadgets around him/her. It doesn't come with the headstall, lunge line, or surgical.
Quality: The quality of the materials is awesome, I mean some on it is made by Pessoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: This is a great lunging aid, it has developed my mare's muscle mass greatly, and not her muscles are in the place I need them to be in order to move forward in her dressage training. It really has causes to her free her shoulder, and loosen up a bit, she can really use her neck not, and can obtain a variety of frames with ease.
