Manufacturer: Creative Partnership NW
Model: Majesty's Flex Cookies
Category: Horse Health and Well Being
Purchase: I purchased this product over the internet majestyscookies.com. The cost for 60 cookies is approximately $35.00. I purchased the cookies because I wanted to see if feeding my horse the supplement was as easy as they advertise. It is. I am on my 4th shipment.
Likes: The cookies contain glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin sulfate as well as yucca extract. I have an off-the-track quarter/thorobred broodmare who can no longer carry a foal because of her knee. I wanted to find a supplement that would help her joint pain and stiffness and possibly return her to use as a broodmare. She is on pasture with other horses so feeding a supplement in grain, etc., was very difficult. The cookies have molassas, oats, apples, and other seeds with raisins and cinnamon and it took only 2 days to get her used to them. She now meets me at the gate for them. You feed 2/day for the first 30 days and then a maintenance of 1/day. She is now walking much better and actually trots now and again. When I started feeding her these she was limping very badly and I had considered putting her down because of pain. The ease of feeding exceeded my expectations. They come in their own ziplock bag and only have to be kept dry and cool. I have them in my kitchen by the back door.
Dislikes: I was prepared for the cookie contents to be only minimally successful. I believe that if my mare continues to improve over the winter, I will try to get her in foal next spring. I have not found anything I don't like about this product.
Quality: The cookies are fairly uniform, round and compact. I put them in a shirt pocket to carry them to the pasture. They only crumble a very very little. Keeping the storage bag closed, keeps them moist. I did not have a cookie tested to see if all the ingredients were there or not, but they are making a difference in my mare.
Summary: They have a money back guarantee written on each bag. I would recommend these cookies to anyone who travels and needs to maintain supplements in their horses diets; to anyone who has a finicky eater; and to those who can't conveniently feed a supplement to pasture horses. You could feed a herd if you chose to.
