Purchase: I was looking for a new saddle and after doing the research had almost given up on the idea of being able to afford a good quality saddle for less than two grand. Around this time my mom bought a Corriente wade saddle and I was able to check it out. I LOVE it! I have now bought one of my own and am amazed at how great it is. Especially since I paid $600 for it!
Likes: It fits my Arab gelding like it was custom made for him. Its great quality leather and wonderful craftsmanship...and at the price you don't have to panic if it gets scratched or rained on. You are free to do real work in it. It is a beautiful saddle, but a functional one.
Dislikes: The weight is pretty high. It goes about 40 pounds and that can be a lot to lift. But that's the only problem I have.
Quality: It is wonderful... It is very sturdy and very well made. Beats those $2000 + saddle hands down.
Summary: You cannot beat this saddle... not for $600 or $6000. I will never buy another brand and am planning to buy one of their barrel saddles next.
