Purchase: I bough Mane 'N Tail detangler at our local Tractor Supply Company. We had run out of our cowboy magic detangler and needed something quick. My four horses had all gotten into burdocks. I paid $3.25 for a 16fl oz spray bottle.
Likes: This stuff really works! The spray bottle makes it easy to apply without getting the product all over your hands. The bottle isn't large so it's easy to handle. When sprayed onto the main and tail, tangles just slide right our. The product leaves a great shine and has a pleasant smell.
Dislikes: There is nothing I didn't like about this product.
Quality: The bottle has held up well. I have dropped it several times on a concrete floor and the sprayer still works.
Summary: I just love Mane 'N Tail Detangler and will buy it again. The spray bottle is just the right size and allows you to apply the product without getting it all over your hands. The sprayer has never clogged. When I use it on my four Tennessee Walking Horses thick manes and tails, the tangles just slide out. Burdocks also easily come out, even when they are deeply imbedded. My horse’s manes and tails stay shiny and smell good for almost an entire weak! The detangler is light and not greasy like many other products. This is great if you use tail bags. I find the inside of my tail bags stay a lot cleaner since I have started using Mane 'N Tail detangler. My horse’s hair also comes out of the bags much softer and shinier. I used to use Cowboy Magic Detangler and thought nothing could work as well. Now that I have tried Mane 'N Tail, I'll never use anything else again.
