Purchase: I had seen several reviews for this saddle company on a forum and knew they had a money back guarantee if the saddle didn't fit. I sent in measurements and pictures of my horse according to the directions and Debra recommended several different saddles that she thought would work for my horse. I chose the Crusade Sport Lite without a horn because I wanted something lightweight. I paid $525. for it.
Likes: What I love about this saddle is the flair and rock of the tree. The flair allows my horse to move without interference. My horse is 1/2 TWH and 1/2 Arab and she gaits as well at trots, and she needed a saddle that wouldn't interfere with her shoulders. I also love that the stirrups hang properly which puts me in a perfect position and not a "chair seat". With a multi-gaited horse, I need to be in a balanced seat to ask her for the different gaits.
Dislikes: There is nothing I don't like about this saddle.
Quality: The construction and quality are superb. It is a leather/cordura combination to cut down on the weight. This is what I wanted as I do not want to heft a heavy saddle up on my horse. I can also go swimming in this saddle and not worry about it.
Summary: This saddle is everything I'd hoped it would be. Number one - it fits my horse and that is the most important. Number two - it puts me in a balanced seat. I would buy from this company again. Their customer service and helpfulness before and after purchase are superb.
