Purchase: I purchased this blanket from Dover Saddlery for approximately $80 four years ago.
Likes: I suppose the hardware is good as it has held up well. Not much else.
Dislikes: Pretty much everything. It's not entirely waterproof as advertised. I have several waterproof turnout blankets that have held up better and are more waterproof still (4 years old) than this blanket was originally. After the fist wash it lost most of it's waterproofing. In all fairness I did wash it with normal detergent (as I do with all of my blankets and sheets) but it is still ridiculous to lose it's intended function so soon. It is not very durable as the pasture mates have torn several rips in it. It is still functional as an under blanket though. I have mended it and use it under a waterproof sheet and that works okay.
Quality: Very poor. See above comments.
Summary: Do not buy this blanket! It is not worth the money. Rider's blankets (Dover) are very good as are Brookside blankets (Valley Vet) and Shires blankets. I will never waste money on another Weatherbeeta.
