Purchase: Originally purchased 1 lb from Country Supply to try on my old, arthritic TB who often exhibited hock soreness and 'catching stifles'. I was intrigued by the price: $9.99.
When the majority of decent joint supplements run at minimum $30/month, I thought I'd give it a try without worrying about wasting the money if it didn't work.
Likes: While it did take longer to work than say Cortaflx, I noticed results within the first week. My mare was happier: Running and playing in the field. In warm-up, she wasn't 'hocky' in movement, and really moved well: fluidly, and forward.... Something she hasn't done in a long time. The addition of the bioflavonoids and the creatine helped to repair and rebuild, something that the majority of joint supplements don't.
In addition, the back of the label clearly states that the source of the glucosamine is not from a beef by-product.
Dislikes: Truthfully, nothing! Really the best bang for the $$$ out there.
Quality: The product came in a plastic tub, complete with a scoop... pretty standard.
Summary: Overall, I really stand by this product. I've put all my horses on it because I really love the results.
