Purchase: The same place I bought my trailer, they suggest I buy the trailer aid. It was $40.
Likes: This has paid for itself three times so far. It makes changing a flat tire so much easier, especially when you've got a trailer full of horses. It only weighs 15 pounds so it's not a pain to keep around. The tread on it helps when it's raining as well. It's super strong too. No need to unload your horses on the side of the road!
Dislikes: They should include them on every new trailer purchase, lol.
Quality: Very heavy duty material whatever it's made out of. How something that weighs 15lbs can hold so much weight is amazing. The top (where you drive on) has a nice tread. the bottom is a mesh so it sticks to the ground. Won't rust either.
Summary: 3 times in 3 years I've gotten a flat tire on the way home from a show. I live in a very rural area of Arkansas and it's usually a long trip to shows. No idea what I would have done with 4 horses waiting to get home for dinner, unload, use a jack to change tire, reload, no thanks. I make sure my trailer aid is in the trailer before the tack!
