Purchase: I bought this saddle from a local tack shop. I had tried several saddles for my mule who was very hard to fit and this one worked. I paid about $2300 for this saddle.
Likes: I love it, it is very comfortable you could ride in it all day. It has wool flocking which was a must for me to be able to adjust it to fit this mule as she grew. It was very difficult to find a saddle to fit her flat back. It is the most comfortable saddle I have ridden in and trust me I tried over 20 saddles.
Dislikes: Really nothing except I wish they had the changeable gullet in them. My mule has now grown once again and if it can't be adjusted to fit her I will have to get rid of it and I love it.
Quality: Wonderful, nice soft leather and it did not really have a break in period was soft from the beginning.
