Purchase: I bought the Terrain chaps from www.equestrian-tack.com a few months ago and paid $70 because they were on sale. The usual is $80.
Likes: I love pretty much EVERYthing about these chaps. They're very attractive and sporty-looking, easy to use and maintain, and functional.
I also bought the Terrain women's boots which are hard for normal chaps to get around, if not impossible. But with the Terrain chaps, everything fits perfectly(and matches).
The air mesh on the outside leg actually does work. It's not just sort of there. Air goes straight through it onto your leg and does its job.
Another thing I love is the zipper. This zipper could do anything. When I first had the chaps they were tight because they needed to stretch, and it never occurred to me that the zipper would break while I was yanking and pulling on it. It's serious heavy duty.
Dislikes: Nothing.
Quality: You get your money's worth with these chaps for sure. The quality is amazing and I doubt if my zipper will ever break or jam.
Summary: These chaps are everything I need and honestly everything I wanted. If you want the sporty look and the functionality, get these chaps and know your money isn't being wasted.
