Purchase: I purchased this fly/UV sheet to protect my horse from biting insects and the fading effects of the sun. I bought it on line and paid a little over $100 for it. Can't remember the vendor.
Likes: I like that it has the attached hood to protect the neck and keep the mane from fading. It also has a flap over the tail to protect it from fading.
Dislikes: Well, I was very disappointed in the quality of this Rambo fly sheet! My horse has only had this sheet on for 2 months and it's already ruined. One of the clasps got stuck in the open position and ended up causing my horse to get stuck on the fencing. He was fortunately able to get loose by ripping off the clasp. This left a hole in the sheet. Also, there's 2 other holes in the sheet not related to the incident. The plastic clasp on the neck hood is also broken. Plus, I don't like how it seems restrictive over his shoulders since there are no gussets. The front comes undone since there is only a velcro and the two regular clasps. It should have straps that have buckles to keep it securely closed.
Quality: Read above...Not good quality at all considering it's a Rambo and the price paid.
Summary: The bottom line is that I will never buy this sheet again. Even though it says it's made of Denier Nylon and is super durable....nothing could be further from the truth. Today I found another rip in the sheet! 2 clasps have broken, 3 holes in the fabric, restricted shoulders, all in only 2 months...not a good choice!
