Purchase: I ride bareback and like the concept of a Breastplate for tie-downs and to keep the pad in place on high withered horses. I paid about $50 through State Line Tack.
Likes: I Like the concept and the pad is comfortable.
Dislikes: I think that the Quality of the hardware is very low. We used the pad about 4 days and both the D-rings stretched out, one of the plastic clasps broke, and the holes to attach the girth strap started to rip. Also I would like to see other colors offered, Solid colors.
Quality: The quality of the hard ware is low, but the rest of the pad is really nice. It isn't built strong enough for regular use and to last.
Summary: I really like the pad and the concept. I would pay a lot more for the same thing, just built to last.
